All of our blankets are handwoven by us at Myrrhwood Farm. All of the yarn used in the blankets is handspun by Beth and is hand dyed or simply in its natural color. All of the wool comes from the fleece of our sheep, and all blankets measure 36x60 unless noted. Each blanket is one of a kind and no pattern is ever the same, which ensures you a completely original piece that you will want to proudly display. All blankets should be dry cleaned to prevent shrinkage.
This blanket reminds us of a desert sunset. Having lived in a high plains desert for 10 years we see pale mountains in the distance a red backlit cloud and wispy clouds above. The pinks are Brazilwood, the red is Cochineal, the grey and black are natural colors. The blanket is self fringed in the same colors. The yarns used were from Border Leicester and Icelandic sheep. This blanket measures 36x48.

The beautiful blanket pictured at left is made from 100% handspun Border Leicester wool and all the wool was hand dyed using Brazilwood, Teal and a rich Purple. It has matching fringe and measures 36x48 and is a very soft drapy lap robe.
